I departed Warsaw a Saturday morning, hugged my beloved mom goodbye and headed for Pittsburgh, PA. There, I visited the grown up version of Emily Lottes (very similar to the Brockport version), had some great catch up time and got to tour her awesome, bridgey, city. Em is one of my most favorite people because of her ability to continuously call, and love me even when I used the lame excuse of medical school. Sadly, Em and I didn't take any pictures, so Ive stolen one from her of the view from Mt. Washington in Pittsburgh. It shows the entire city-and I did see this view!

Sunday, I left Pittsburgh in route to Nashville. I traveled through Columbus, Cincinnati, and Louisville, and finally arrived in Nashville at Choo's apartment. It was, great to hang out with her one on one and finally meet and see her side of Nashville-not the touristy stuff, the music industry. We went to a show, hung out with her friends, all except one of which I had never met before, I had my first (and last, sorry Choo) bushwhacker, and saw the inside of my first recording studio. I ate yummy dinners and got to go to bed next to my best friend for five days. I absolutely love my little sister.
Thursday, I departed Nashville for Greenville, SC to visit my beloved first semester roommate in Cayman, Sajitha Joseph. After seeing her almost every day for two years, it is amazing to me I could last since our tearful goodbye in April, which consisted of "how am I supposed to make it without yous." When I arrived in Greenville, she hugged me saying, "I didn't think I'd ever see you again!" I just laughed. It was great to see her three sisters again, tour her beautiful town, and meet her parents. There is something face time with favorite friends gives that phone calls or skype could never replace. I cannot wait for our next reunion. The picture below is a pretty waterfall in her town. We took some pictures together, but she still has them.
Friday, I left Greenville for Charlotte, NC where I stopped and had lunch with my friend Kunal. I'm sure I've mentioned him before, but Kunal is a good friend of mine from Cayman who I got to know because our last names placed us together, but became friends with because of how awesome and sweet he is. We still keep touch in the states, which I can't say for everyone, and hope that will be a trend for years to come. Our visit was too short, but still absolutely wonderful. I then traveled to Cary, NC where I met up with my angel, Katy Dorman and her boyfriend Paul. It was great to catch up with them on gossip from home, talk about our friend Val's upcoming wedding, and know I would have them less than an hour from me for the next six weeks. Kate and Paul were in Cayman on a cruise in April and we had a great day together, which I blogged about here.
I landed in Goldsboro, NC at Cherry Hospital Saturday around lunch time. I had, no idea what I was getting myself into! More on that in my next blog.
Have a great week everyone :)
